Directed by Michael Landon Jr.
2007 Drama
Rated PG-13
ZERO Stars
Had I gone to see this movie in the theater, I would most definitely have walked out at the latest about 30 minutes in. However, I was at home and had nothing else to do. I couldn't actually have regrets about watching a movie, could I? Yeah, I definitely could. After viewing the Sin Eater, directed by Michael Landon (yes, that Michael Landon) Jr., I really feel as if I have lost part of my brain from the experience. Never mind the technical faults (bad/miscast acting, laughable effects, etc.), the story is so convoluted that any positive message it tries to get across is lost in the mess of the script. If I can do anything positive this year, it is to warn you to stay as far as possible away from The Last Sin Eater.
